Physical Education Coach*

*Teachers at I Dream PCS are called "coaches". A coach facilitates the learning process, instead of directing and doing the thinking for learners. The role of coaches at I Dream is a critical example of our commitment to transform relationships between learners and themselves, the curriculum, and the community.

I Dream PCS Mission

I Dream PCS co-designs purposeful, self-directed learning with children and families, so they have voice and choice on the path to discovering and pursuing their dreams.

The Physical Education (PE) Coach will help I Dream PCS achieve its mission by providing varied and required Physical Education instruction and activities to learners (students at I Dream PCS are called “learners”). I Dream PCS is looking for a PE Coach to lead learners in instruction related to movement, personal fitness, team sports, health and nutrition. The PE Coach will plan and lead daily classes for 107 learners in PK3-5th grades. There are 6 multi-grade classrooms. PE classes are taught over 4-5 periods per day (class sizes 17-22 learners).
